Elizabeth and Tudor’s Residence

A sweeping driveway curves up to the home, setting the scope for this project. The landscape combines the refined with the rustic. Roughly hewn slabs of rock form irregular steps flanked by hosta, ferns and rough grasses. A rustic nook shelters a BBQ as it faces pebbled rocks, trees and shrubbery. Besides the pool, civility reigns as the blue water and green grass meet at the plain slabs that create the boundary between the two. Flowerbeds curve delightfully, alive with promise. On the patio, smooth stone meets native grasses and rougher chunks of rocks.
