Paving stone mimics but softens the texture of the stone house, making it welcoming. The interlocked path then wends onwards curving around beds and changing its form from circular to almost heart shape then straight again as it flows from front to back. It narrows and expands to create different vistas and uses, framed here by a stolid wooden trellis and forming there a path or patio.
