An entryway is always important. It creates an impression for visitors. The landscape architect needs to reinforce the importance of this gateway to the home. In this residence, the entrance becomes the focal point of the design. The angular steps contrast with the circular flagstones and straight walkway. All aspects, all elements, however, draw the eye up, through the white pillars to the doorway.
